| System Description: | Sewage will flow by gravity from the home to a 550 gallon trash trap. Effluent will then flow by gravity to a 450 gallon chamber with a MircoFAST 0.5 pretreatment unit. Effluent will then enter the 650 gallon pump chamber. A timed dose pump will dose effluent to a 12' x 21' Pressure bed built from washed rock or EZ Flow drainfield media. A 0.83 gpd/ft2 soil sizing factor was used to calculate the size for the drainfield. Some of the new pressure bed may be built over the existing drainfield area. If this is the case, the installer shall dig out the existing drainfield and adjacent soils and replace with clean mound sand. Once the bed is installed, the installer is to overfill the area with sandy loam prior to installing 6" of topsoil over the area |
