8/21/15 renewed OP to May of 2016 - sample results must be under 10k next year and if everything else looks ok and they have a contract with a licensed provider for 5 years we can move them back to the 5 year renewal.

7.21.15 received information on renewing the OP. See letter dated 7.23.15 returning the documents as incomplete.

7.15.15 Jane Hilbrands called (612)695-5623 me with questions about the septic system. I tried twice to return the call and received a recording "The person you are trying to reach is unavailable. Please try again later"?then it turned to Spanish and hungup.

4.23.15 I returned Rick's call. I suggested he visit the MPCA website to find the licensed service providers in MN because he was having trouble getting one to return his call. He stated he talked to "Peterson" from Wisconsin and he will be out in a couple weeks to look at the system - Peterson was the one that did the sales pitch for the system. He tried to tell me this is the sytsem that was required by Aitkin County - I politely explained that we had this same conversation last year and that I was not here when the system was installed, however; Aitkin County has not and will not REQUIRE a certain design of a septic system. I reiterated the 3 things that are required by May 31st, 2015 - 1. the $100 fee and the signed OP. 2. The log of his water meter readings that he said he would begin taking last year. 3. The contract with the licensed Service Provider **I noted, this must coincide with the recommended renwal period on the OP.
He stated he was going to try to have the Service Provider and Peterson out to the site at the same time so Peterson could show them where to take the sample from. Peterson apparently said there was no way this system could show sampling results that high?unless they were taken directly from the tank. 
He also mentioned that he would be reroofing one of his cabin's and changing an existing deck to a porch. I referred him to the Shoreland Ordinance to read up on what's allowed without a variance for non-conforming structures.
4.20.15 Rick (612-386-6580) left me a message regarding the letter he received on this OP.
4.6.15 sent customized renewal reminder letter.
4.6.15 After meeting with Terry, we will ask for renewal on the OP by May 31,2015. *we took in his $ from last year, so we will begin follow up newly in 2015.
3/27/15 I talked to Michelle - is this one in violation? Yes, he has until 4.1.15 to fix his advertising. Once the deadline has passed, we will meet with Terry to draft a revocation hearing letter.
7.14.14 received readings - too high should be less than 10,000 reading was 150,000!
6.10.14 called John Walsh- need fecal coliform readings.
6.4.14 I called Rick - based on the contract and the maintenance results - we still need coliform results, records of monthly readings, install high level alarm on pump tank. It was noted that this will be changed to an annual renewal.
5.12.14 Rick called - John Walsh will be maintaining the system.
4.15.14 sent renewal information.
4.15.14 Nancy Karjalahti called - Craig was previously named as the maintainer, Nancy said they are overloading the system and they are not listening to Craig's suggestions so he is no longer maintaining the system.
6.3.14 added John Walsh as maintainer.
